Even his last names are related to their work. Born in Cascais, in a family of carpenters and masons, he was influenced by the arts of construction. He completed a master's degree in Urban Architecture at FAUL in 2012. During his studies, he worked in carpentry and traveled the world, including a pitstop to study in Berlin. In 2013 he set out on an adventure through India and Nepal, looking for work in one of his reference studios — Studio Mumbai — where he learned the work methodology of Bijoy Jain, as well as several ancient construction techniques.
