Grey Goat Shepherd Huts is a family business based just outside Romsey. Two years ago, sat around the dinner table and having both found ourselves unemployed due to the pandemic, we had an idea to create versatile spaces for people to have in their homes; especially as more of us were working from home and staycations were more appealing than ever. With over 40 years of carpentry experience behind us, we decided to make the leap and Grey Goat Shepherd Huts was formed. Having built our first hut in the garden of the family home (with the whole family chipping in!) we soon expanded and are now set up in an ideal location in the heart of the Hampshire countryside. We are passionate about keeping our builds eco friendly; our shepherd's hut materials are not only ethically sourced but also sourced as locally as possible. This means that we're lowering our carbon footprint in terms of shipping and also supporting the local economy with our trade.
