With their outstanding, natural looks, low waste and unbreakable qualities, Classic Slate & Select Shake are perfect for modular construction. Both can withstand the movement of being transported over distance where other roofing products crack and break. Classic Slate & Select Shake are easy to install, easy to cut and shape, and with a 40-year warranty are easy to love. Moulded from natural slate and cedar, 16 different tile moulds for each product make sure that your roof has a natural, non-repeated look, just like natural slate and cedar, but at a quarter of the weight – saving costs on materials and installation times, with less waste!

• Lightweight – as low as 12kg per square metre for TapcoSlate Classic and 14kg per square metre for DaVinci Select Shake.

• Authentic slate and cedar appearance – combines the beauty of slate & cedar with modern technology.

• TapcoSlate Classic can be fitted on roof pitches of 12° and upwards on both felt & batten and fully-boarded applications. DaVinci Select Shake can be fitted on roof pitches of 15° and upwards on a fully-boarded application.

• Both are easily cut with a fine-toothed saw or sharp utility blade.

• Random edges and patterns with constant colour throughout.

• Fittings (ridges and hips) are mechanically fixed.

• Choice of colours (7 standard colours and one Mix for TapcoSlate Classic & 3 standard colours for Select Shake, all stocked for immediate availability).

• Both TapcoSlate Classic and Davinci Select Shake are fully certified and tested to BBA standards, including fire ratings, wind, driven snow & rain, and water absorption.

• TapcoSlate Classic also achieves UKTA and ETA certification and standards, and therefore has UKCA and CE marking and conformity.

• BRE testing for wind-driven rain found TapoSlate Classic to perform much stronger than all equivalent materials tested and at a lower pitch.

• TapcoSlate Classic and DaVinci Select Shake are made from virgin resins which allows us to predict their behaviour when subject to outside elements, unlike recycled products that are unpredictable and prone to failure. This also means that, at the end of their very long lifecycle, our products are 100% recyclable too!
